Trail Overview

This trail starts off from Cascade Lakes Highway and runs around the back side of Wickiup Reservoir and from there the trail continues down the side of the Deschutes River. This trail has many campgrounds along the way as well as several spurs off of it for dispersed camping. It is a rocky/dirt road that can be traveled by pretty much any vehicle in the summer months. In winter it is snowed in.

Difficulty

This is a very easy gravel and dirt road. The road in Summer is easy. In winter, there is snow here.
