Trail Overview

NF 4240110 is a double-width dirt trail that winds through a towering pine forest, making for a scenic and peaceful forest drive. Cut logs line the shoulders in many areas--use caution, especially when passing or navigating tight turns. The trail features occasional shallow mud holes, and though not overly technical, overgrown sections may brush up against wider vehicles. As the trail climbs, it becomes bumpier with more embedded rocks, adding some texture to the ride. In the spring, the trail is especially beautiful, lined with blooming Pacific rhododendrons.
