Trail Overview

Tight Forest Service road winding through the landlocked section of the Deschutes National Forest above the Deschutes River. This road parallels nearby NF-113 but is much more interesting route to travel. It varies in elevation from 4000'-4800' and is usually snowbound between December and April. This area does not receive a great deal of use, so carry a chainsaw and expect to buck out fallen trees or be turned around.

Trail is open and clear, with moments of rugged/rocky trail and tight squeezes between downed logs. There ares one good views and camping opportunities near here.
