Trail Overview

The first mile to mile and a half is full of potholes, then it smooths out. There are dispersed camping spots along the way along with a couple of streams and views when it opens up. Throughout the trail, there are offshoots for further exploration. Winter travel is not recommended due to high pileups of snow.

After the heavy rains the road was clear. One tree fall had already been cleared. beautiful fall drive. highly recommended.

Hey, if you’re planning to drive there, please be careful and don’t speed. I almost fell because It was really muddy. There are a lot of downed trees, and one is currently blocking the trail. I wouldn’t recommend driving on this trail, as I almost got stuck while trying to make a U-turn.

The road to get there is very narrow, so keep that in mind. There isn't enough space for two cars to pass by. There are a lot of potholes, so drive carefully. When you're passing by something, you can't see them. It was a great experience on the trail, and I will definitely go again. It's the best trail I have ever been on in Oregon.
