Trail Overview

An easy dirt road that takes you through the Mt. Hood National Forest. It connects to several other trails in the area, and leads to a few trailheads for hiking and biking. The trail can get dusty behind other vehicles. Unmaintained in the winter months. Keep an eye open, and you'll catch glimpses of Mount Hood to the West.

Difficulty

Dirt or rocky road with gentle grades. Safe for most 4WD and high-clearance 2WD vehicles. Roads are typically two vehicles wide.

Easy for just about anyone. Dry, dusty, tiny washboard sections and small dips/pot holes, but better than previous years. Good air-up/down spot at the entrance by paved NF-44 for those going or coming from deeper into the woods.

Fully Snow covered, stay in the grooves if you can. High clearance vehicle required. I had to go up to pull out a Mazda SUV.
