Trail Overview

This is a short connector route between the June Lake single track and the Indigo Lake single track. It is about a half mile long, traversing through a forest of mossy hemlock trees. The trail is a smooth dirt single track that is mostly flat, with very little elevation change, that just weaves through the trees. The dirt is loamy with good traction, but can be muddy in the early season. This is an alpine environment above 5000 feet in elevation, and log hazards are common, especially in the early season. There were several large downed trees in late May, as it looked like the trail hadn't yet been ridden for the season.

Difficulty

The trail itself is not difficult, but this area can have a lot of logs if it hasn't been cut yet for the season. The logs can be quite big, diagonal, and off-camber, which will make the trail very tricky or not passable.
