Trail Overview

This unmaintained sandy trail offers a mix of terrain as it winds along the boundary of private property. The route moves between young fir saplings, more open sections, and narrower stretches of trail, giving it a varied and interesting feel throughout. The sand can become quite deep in places, and a raised center median can make it easy to drop a tire off the established track, so staying centered is important. There is also an exposed steel pipe obstacle along the boundary of two private properties. The pipe is heavily dented and has jagged, broken sections of serrated steel, requiring careful tire placement and plenty of caution when passing. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, particularly when the sand is deep or conditions are wet. Drive slowly through the obstacle and remain aware of the private-property boundaries along the route. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
