Trail Overview
Honeycomb Wilderness Trail is a 6-mile out-and-back, rugged, high-clearance route that drops from elevated rocky terrain into wide open meadows nestled beneath towering rock formations. This trail is best suited for well-built rigs and experienced drivers, as it features multiple steep sections, deep ruts, and off-camber rocky segments that test both traction and clearance. The trail starts on a dirt road with embedded rock and quickly transitions into rough, uneven terrain. There are several very steep grades where 4-Low is highly recommended to maintain control and crawl safely. Once you descend, the views open up into a breathtaking valley, surrounded by massive rock formations and sprawling meadows.
