Trail Overview

This trail is an unmaintained sandy route with fine, soft sand covering much of the surface. It begins within the forest before opening into a powerline corridor, then continues back through the trees before connecting with FS 9760, a well-maintained gravel road. While the trail is not particularly difficult, it does appear to receive limited use, resulting in areas of encroaching vegetation, undergrowth, and overhanging trees that narrow the path. Drivers should take care through these tighter sections, particularly in larger vehicles, as pinstriping is possible. The route provides a scenic and more secluded forest experience with a mix of open and wooded terrain. Overall, this is an enjoyable connector trail best suited for ATVs, SxSs, and smaller 4x4 vehicles, such as short-wheelbase Jeeps.
