This trail starts off as dirt with some ruts and washouts up to a foot, then transitions to hard-packed gravel with some washboard and potholes. Overall, this is an easy trail suitable for any vehicle type. The trail runs along the bottom of Walker Mountain, and the Walker Mountain Lookout Tower sits atop the mountain. You will have good views of the surrounding peaks and area, and camping is allowed along this entire trail. Cell phone service is good along this trail, but there are no amenities. The nearest services and supplies are 10 minutes away south on Highway 97 in Chemult, Oregon.
