Trail Overview

This trail starts on a non-maintained but fairly well-traveled road that gradually narrows as it climbs, with a few ruts and uneven sections along the way. The surface is mostly compacted sand and dirt with some scattered stones and rocks, but there are no major obstacles. Most fallen trees have been cleared from the route, although one overhanging tree appears farther along the trail. The route winds through a beautiful forest with dense bushes and trees lining both sides. A few open areas provide space to turn around or potentially set up primitive camping where permitted. Some of the steeper sections have off-camber ruts that may be challenging for certain 4x4s, so low range is recommended for those climbs. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
