FS 8819000

This trail is a long, user-maintained route that begins wide before reaching a beautiful primitive campsite with pre-cut firewood. Beyond this point, the trail narrows considerably and becomes much better suited to ATVs and SxSs, while larger vehicles should expect significant pinstriping for several miles. Road surfaces alternate between red gravel, sandy gravel, silt, and compact gravel, with some mountain sections showing heavy rain erosion. The trail passes through young pine forest and has several side trails, although many are closed, so please check the MVUM or onX before exploring them. A handful of camping opportunities are available along the route. Expect very dusty conditions and leave plenty of space between vehicles.
