Trail Overview

This easy alpine arterial road is mostly gravel; some sections have developed ruts from water erosion, but they are generally manageable and don’t significantly change the route’s character. Several fallen trees are also near the roadway, but thankfully none block the travel path. The road itself has been cleared of major debris, including loose rock and fallen trees. The route offers a pleasant ride through the area and connects to several other trails along the way; however, many of the connecting routes have become overgrown and are no longer easily accessible, so there are fewer usable trail connections than the map may suggest. Despite this, the main road remains clear and easy to follow, making it a straightforward option for all vehicles. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
