Trail Overview

This sandy trail is relatively well-maintained and features numerous spur roads and side trails that provide excellent opportunities for dispersed camping. Much of the route feels like driving on a marshmallow due to the deep, soft sand beneath your tires, making for a unique driving experience. If you plan to camp along the trail, be sure to choose a site well off the main road, as the trail surface is extremely sandy and consists almost entirely of fine, loose sand. Aside from a few small rocky outcrops scattered throughout the route, the terrain is dominated by deep, soft sand from start to finish.
