Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road that is narrow and vehicle-wide with room to pass. The trail has some two-track sections, and the further you go, the more it becomes overgrown with vegetation. If you travel this entire trail, you can expect to pick up some scratches on your vehicle. There are minor ruts and washouts along the way, and towards the end the trail becomes a little more rocky with small, loose boulders on the trail. Overall, this is an easy trail that any vehicle type could travel. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and you have dense forest views and a good view of Three Fingered Jack and Mount Jefferson. There are no amenities along the trail and cell phone service is weak. There were some split-off trails, but they have become overgrown and are only suitable for small ATV and dirt bike travel. The nearest services and supplies are in the town of Sisters, approximately 30 minutes from the beginning of this trail.
