FS 1217

This is a wide, gravel-based forest road in the National Forest. The trail has some heavy washboard and potholes for you to avoid, so for comfort's sake it would be best to air down your tires. This trail is relatively flat and offers a dense forest view and a view of the ridges surrounding you. Any vehicle type could traverse this trail. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and there are multiple pre-existing campsites along the way. There are no amenities along the trail, and cell phone service was weak. The nearest services and supplies are in the town of Sisters, approximately 15 minutes from the beginning of this trail.
