FS 1168-000

FS 1168-000 is a smooth gravel road accessed from Forest Road 11 in both directions. The route winds through the forest while gradually gaining elevation and opening up beautiful views of Mount Jefferson and the surrounding wilderness. Access to the Bachelor Mountain Trailhead is also available from this road. Several pull-offs provide opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery. As you climb higher, the trees become less dense, creating expansive views in multiple directions. The surface becomes slightly looser and more exposed near the upper sections but remains easy to navigate for any vehicle. There are no significant obstacles, water bars, or rocks larger than a couple of inches.
