FS 1140-600

This is a narrow, one-vehicle-wide forest that is dirt-based with places to pass. The trail has some loose rock and rock garden areas, and has overgrown vegetation in some areas, but any vehicle type could traverse this trail. Camping is allowed along this trail with many dispersed camping options, and you will have views of the ridge around you and forest views. The trail dead ends at the locked gate for the Green Ridge Lookout Tower. Cell phone service was decent along the trail, but there are no amenities. he nearest services and supplies are located in Sisters, Oregon, approximately 25 minutes away.
