Trail Overview

This short, very well-maintained trail serves as a convenient connector between the 2000 and 4000. While it functions primarily as a shortcut between the two routes, it also offers two separate areas just off the main road for dispersed camping or parking trailers and off-road toys before continuing on to the main trail. Both areas provide pull-through space, making them useful for staging trailers or setting up camp away from the main road. This area is open year-round on gravel roads. OHV use is prohibited where vegetation is present on the road during fire season, typically from October. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
