Trail Overview
Trail 304 is an SxS trail for vehicles 65” or less, that is directional in a counterclockwise direction. The first half winds tightly through the forest with small loose rocks on a semi-steep climb. There are optional rock gardens throughout the first half mile, with several piles of rocks on both sides of the trail that are completely optional to practice your rock crawling skills. The trail goes between the rock gardens on an easy and smooth path. After passing the intersection with 107, it keeps winding through the tight woods, with several small mud puddles, small embedded rocks, and lots of uneven ground. It has lots of quick curves, riding through a mossy forest. It rides over a small wooden bridge and ends back on the road, just north of where you started.
Difficulty
This trail is easy, as it is mostly just a semi-gradual dirt trail with small loose rocks. However, there are optional rock gardens that will elevate the difficulty if you choose to ride through the rocks. They are mostly just flat piles of small boulders, 10 or so feet long. They are not major rock ledges.
