This short but exciting trail features a steep descent, followed by a steep climb, then drops down again. The route eventually reaches a lower staging area with plenty of room to turn around and a large area that may suit dispersed camping. The staging area also has two targets for target shooting. From the lower staging area, the road continues uphill toward a much larger staging area. The route is beautiful and offers a fun mix of steep elevation changes. At the end of the trail, there are beautiful views overlooking the valley. This area is open year-round on gravel roads. However, travel on dirt roads is restricted during wet conditions, which typically occur from October 1. OHV use is prohibited where vegetation is present on the road during fire season, typically June through October. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
