Trail Overview
This beautifully maintained trail winds through the area with a mix of climbs and descents before connecting to the main Route 3, a large gravel road that provides access to the surrounding trail network. The trail is generally in good condition, but there is a particularly steep downhill section, so take care and control your speed. A couple of trails branch off from the main route, providing additional options to explore. Because the trail connects to a larger, more frequently traveled road, watch for other vehicles. The trail was mapped in September, when hunting activity was present in the area. You may encounter hunters and other traffic, so please stay alert. This area is open year-round on gravel roads. However, travel on dirt roads is restricted during wet conditions, which typically occur from October 1. OHV use is prohibited where vegetation is present on the road during fire season, typically June through October. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid Oregon ATV Operating Permit sticker.
