Shulls Mill

Shulls Mill Road provides users with another scenic connection to the Blue Ridge Parkway and offers an easy drive through the beautiful North Carolina High Country. Similar to nearby Mill Ridge, the road is approximately two lanes wide and consists primarily of a well-traveled gravel surface. Unlike Mill Ridge, Shulls Mill Road is generally smooth and free from the large ruts or other obstacles that could create concerns for lower-clearance vehicles. Under normal conditions, this route is suitable for all vehicles and does not require AWD, four-wheel drive, or additional ground clearance.
