River Road

River Road provides users with access to the nearby state game lands and offers an easy drive through the surrounding coastal landscape. The trail is generally free from major obstacles, although portions can be somewhat rough due to exposed tree roots protruding through the trail surface. Drivers should reduce their speed through these areas to maintain a comfortable ride and avoid unnecessary impacts. At the back of River Road, users will encounter a permanently closed gate that marks the end of vehicle access. There is ample room near the gate for users to park and continue their adventure on foot or by bicycle. Beyond the gate, users can explore farther into the game lands and travel alongside the nearby river. Overall, River Road is an easy trail with the added benefit of providing access to additional outdoor recreation opportunities.
