Long Ridge Road

Long Ridge Road is another enjoyable route within the surrounding state game lands and provides users with an additional trail option near the northern entrance of the network. This makes it easy to incorporate Long Ridge Road into a longer route when entering or leaving the northern side of the game lands. The trail is similar in character to many of the nearby routes, featuring maintained surfaces and narrower sections as users travel through the surrounding forest. Under normal conditions, the trail is generally free from major obstacles and provides a straightforward drive through the area. Users should remain aware of changing trail conditions following periods of heavy rain, when mud, standing water, or softer ground may develop. Overall, Long Ridge Road provides another useful option for users looking to explore more of the northern portion of the trail network.
