Trail Overview

This short route is a must-see if you're in the area. If you're traveling Hurricane Gap it's well worth the detour. There area few campsites on the way up the mountain. Cell service is available, but be prepared to bring water since none is available. The tower itself is a relatively new construction and easily accessible. It offers 360 degree views of the Hurricane Gap area.

We met two women who were through-hiking the AT. They were taking a break to eat and heading into Hot Springs for a couple of days. The panoramic views were incredible. Great trip. Worth the drive up!
