Trail Overview
Redwood Road is similar to nearby Juniper Road and provides users with a wide, well-maintained route through the surrounding coastal North Carolina trail network. The trail consists primarily of maintained hard-packed dirt and is approximately two lanes wide, allowing plenty of room for vehicles to comfortably navigate the route. Redwood Road also serves as a useful connector within the network, providing access to Juniper Road, Beech Road, and Robin Road. This makes it easy for users to combine several nearby trails into a longer afternoon of exploring and wheeling. The trail is generally free from major obstacles and should be suitable for most vehicles under normal conditions. As with other dirt roads in the area, users should remain aware that heavy rainfall may produce standing water, mud, or softer trail conditions.
