Trail Overview

Located in the northern section of Croatan National Forest, North Little (FS 121-1) extends 2 miles between County Line Road and Perrytown Road. This forest service road is notably wide throughout and provides ample room for two-way traffic and allows vehicles traveling in opposite directions to pass comfortably without the need to stop or pull off to the side. This area was clear from end to end with no washouts, hazards, or down trees blocking the road, which made for an easy and enjoyable driving experience. Overall, his portion of Croatan is suitable for most vehicles looking for an easy outdoor experience.

Difficulty

Mainly flat from one end to the other. You can pull off onto the side comfortably to allow incoming traffic to pass by safely. With good visibility, adequate width, and a lack of obstacles, a large variety of different vehicles can access this trail, typically anything from 2WD and 4WD.
