South Base

Trail starts off of a grated gravel road but quickly becomes rocky and sandy terrain. Multiple areas where rocks are up to 12 inches in height with loose rock gardens. There are heavy rutted areas that are off camber with multiple washouts. There are dispersed camping lots off the trail with rock firepits. Cell service is decent throughout the trail. This trail passes through two different plots of private property to continue through to the public land. You must remain on the trail while passing through the private land. The trail is very scenic with views of the surrounding mountains and wildlife
