Greenie East

I don’t know if the trail is mislabeled, but the “green” section definitely felt like it should be rated as more difficult. I try to stick to green trails - rated 1/ to 3/10 - and haven’t been on anything like this. It’s steep, rutted, off-camber, and quite narrow in many places. The Rivian itself had no problem with the route, even on 22” street/sport tires *aired down* to ~37 psi. Someone with more experience will probably laugh, but this trail wasn’t what I expected, especially given my limited experience. In the end I enjoyed the accomplishment, but the whole time on the trail I feared that we’d eventually encounter an obstacle too difficult to overcome, and would be faced with the prospect of somehow reversing course. We eventually made it - starting at Greenie Peak and descending on Greenie East until we got to Sawmill. When the trail forks, check both lines before proceeding to be sure which line you prefer. They will converge again after a short distance, but one will be more challenging.

Several trees down also several places with deep snow

Parts of trail is not passable. Very slick ice at a point where you can not turn a jeep around. Had to winch back up the trail do to ice. Very very dangerous!!

This trail is definitely rated wrong. It is not easy by no means. Very rough and pitches on our Jeep 26% with a 12% roll. We had to use a spotter to get through several areas. This is not for beginner by far.

Rutted, very rocky. Technical in places.
