Trail Overview
Green Camp Canyon is an overlander and camper's paradise. The well-maintained service trail is surrounded by thick trees and lush green foliage, with no obstacles over 10 inches in size that are only found at the north end of the trail at a small rocky section. Several spots on both sides of the trail give the option for dispersed camping, many of which are barely visible and tucked behind the tree line. Cell service is weak through the trail, and with the abundance of additional trails to explore in the area, offline maps are recommended. This trail would be ideal for a base camp area for a small to medium-sized group looking to explore the area and its wide range of terrain and views. The trail is wide enough for 2 vehicles through a majority of its length and will be easily traversed by most 2WD vehicles.
Difficulty
There are no large obstacles on this trail. The north end of the trail has some loose rocks that are under 10 inches in size, and there is minor rutting, but nothing else notable.
