Trail Overview
The FS 195 Connector Trail is a quarter-mile-long dirt bike trail that connects FS 195S and the main Elephant Rock Trail 195. It goes through a narrow forested tree corridor of aspens that are really pretty in fall when the leaves start to change color. The north entrance is unmarked off of FS 195, but there is a trail sign at the southern entrance off of FS 195S indicating the start of the trail. From the north entrance, it climbs up gradually for the first half of the trail, then descends down steeply for the second half of the trail. It’s a quick climb and descent on a mostly dirt surface with not many rocks. There are a few small aspen logs and branches down over the trail that are very easy to ride over. Overall it’s just a short connector trail with no technical features.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail as it is mostly gradual, with only one steep descent from north to south. It is wide, on smooth dirt, with not many rocks. There is potential for logs down, but the trail was clear of downfall as of late summer 2026.
