Trail Overview

This trail can be rocky, muddy, and dusty. It travels through aspen and ponderosa pine trees and breaks out into gorgeous meadows. Sometimes massive Elk can be seen grazing at the edge of the meadows. There are deep mud holes at both ends of this narrow route increasing the complexity.

Very scenic trail, we cleared a couple of down trees. trail is passable

From Moon Canyon up through to Hoodoos. Snowy with dirt patches. Got stuck a couple times in the snow. Best obstacles on the trip were on Moon Canyon. Should be listed as a moderate trail.

A decent amount of erosion which would make it challenging for a 4x4. A good deal of standing water and puddles. Some were surprisingly deep.
