Trail Overview

Success Road winds through the Collier Mills Wildlife Management Area. It's a dirt road, about two vehicles wide, that receives occasional maintenance before hunting seasons. The road transitions to sand with some deep patches and potential for water pooling, offering the first view of Success Lake. It opens up to a large field where the road becomes sandy, with areas with deep sand.

Difficulty

The main portion of Success Road is a two-vehicle-wide dirt road with a few patches of deeper sand that can generally be avoided. It is passable by a standard AWD vehicle with moderate ground clearance. In dry conditions, AWD and moderate ground clearance should be sufficient for safe passage.

Nice and quiet trail. Only saw maybe 5 others. Easy road to navigate, some mud and puddles to have a bit of fun. I go here for the scenery of the lake. It is beautiful. Be careful if you drive on the sand trails

Success road is awesome to test the suspension out. Be careful in some of the puddles, my receiver hitch cover popped off to include the rear bumper cover popped out breaking the tabs. Other then that it’s wide open on success road for 2 vehicles with areas to throw a line out into the lake. There are others trails nearby that start off wide but will eventually close up. I enjoyed it and there was 1 other truck on the trail and a boat in the lake people fishing.

Super easy route. Some areas with loose sand for some fun. Wide enough for two cars almost the entire way.

Very dry right now! Extremely dusty. Looked like the state had been through grading the entire roadway.
