Trail Overview

Amazing Prerunner trail for those that like to pick up the speed a bit. Lots of desert-style whoop sections, with deeper areas that can make it feel like you're riding on a roller coaster. Expect a fair share of standard Barrens water/mud holes along the trail, but all have a bypass, or you can travel around the edges safely. Stay cautious around the swamp areas, as the trail can drop out into deep ruts that will absolutely cause damage to suspension if you hit it too fast. Overall, an amazing trail to travel, whether you like the prerunner style or the slower style of travel. The trail follows an old railroad bed that was used back during World War II.

Difficulty

The rating is primarily due to the deeper whoop sections and the hidden dropout rutted sections. There are two main waterholes that are in excess of 36 inches deep after a good rain (both covered my 37-inch tires with ease).

History

This route follows an old World War II railroad bed.
