Trail Overview

This is a tight scenic trail, some whooped sections and low-hanging trees can make it easy to get some unwanted scratches. There is not a lot of room to let oncoming trail riders pass by. This Trail provides close access to both the Mullica River and the Batsto River.

This was definitely the most fun part of Wharton for me. Sandy with two small mud pits that I recall but nowhere near undoable. Should be “okay” with a decent clearance AWD SUV or Subaru Outback style vehicle but you’re definitely “safe” with 4x4 with decent clearance. Pinstripes are bound to happen as this trail is strictly 1 vehicle size in width minus a few pullover areas.

Trails were bone dry, mostly packed sand, some loose stuff but not enough that I needed to air down. Saw some deer, but that was about it. The forest is quickly recovering from the fire.
