Trail Overview
Stewart's Point is a charming trail that begins with a decent paved road but quickly transitions to a washboard texture as you meander past older houses perched above the lake. Some of these homes are inhabited, while others show signs of abandonment and varying degrees of disarray, adding character to your drive. As you continue along the trail, you'll pass pit toilets and trash bins, signaling that you are entering an area designated for open dispersed camping, where a 15-day stay limit applies. This location offers plenty of opportunities to carve out your own spot to enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, allowing you to appreciate the natural beauty surrounding you. Important Note: Be aware that there is no cell service in this area, so download your offline maps before you head out. Always prepare adequately for your desert adventure by bringing sufficient water and supplies.
Difficulty
The trail is rated a 1, characterized by washboard conditions with ample space to pass oncoming traffic, although it may become impassable or muddy when wet.
