Trail Overview

This is a short section of the Logandale Main Loop. It consists of deep red sand with some rocky side trails, and the rhe route requires 4WD because it is very soft. There are a lot of options in this area since trails extend in all directions from this loop.

This is an easy loop as long as you are in 4-wheel drive. It has some short climbs and twisty s-turns. Stay in 4-high unless you are taking this loop at a slow speed.

Access Description

Exit Highway 15 at the NV-169 South/North Moapa Valley Boulevard exit. If you're coming from the Las Vegas area, it is about a 90-minute drive. Turn right and take the paved road into Logandale. Turn right onto West Liston Avenue. West Liston Avenue turns slightly right and becomes North Mills Street. Continue onto North Pioneer Road, then turn left and continue to the trailhead.
