Grantsville Road

Access from NV 844, the entrance off 844, is the most difficult part of this dirt and gravel road. Accessible with any stock 4x4. The road was in excellent condition with minimal washboarding. Drive time in and out is about an hour. Allow time to explore the old mining area of Goldfield. Watch for old vertical mine shafts; most I found are marked. Watched a pair of Redtail Hawks fly the Ridgeline. Worth checking out if you like abandoned gold and silver mining history.
