Trail Overview

A nice wide, graded gravel road that runs parallel to the Adams McGill Reservoir. This is part of the Nevada Department of Wildlife land. There are two boat launches and a few day-use areas scattered along the drive. They have large parking areas, benches, a picnic table, and a small dock out to the water. Both are pretty areas to visit and enjoy the Reservoir. Bird watching and fishing seem to be the main activities in this area. There is no camping on this section of the reservoir, but there is a big campground across the water with pit toilets, picnic tables, an RV dump, and shade structures at each campsite, as well as fire rings. Open BLM camping is also close. Connect this with parts 2 and 3 to make a complete loop back to the highway. Some LTE cell service in the area
