Trail Overview

This bumpy two-track trail leads to the single-track hiking/moto trailhead for the Northfork Howard trail. While it begins as a wider trail, it narrows quickly, and there is one narrow spot to turn a rig around with a fire ring at the end. From this spot, the trail becomes a single-track hiking/moto trail--overall, it's easy with some narrow trees. There is no cell service.

Rode the N fork Howard single track. Very cool trail. Brush encroaching from sides of the trail. A few steep and loose climbs that did not have major roots or rocks on them. Overall a very cool route that was a significant challenge for beginners. Technically not too difficult but very narrow and loose on the steep sections. Would not recommend until you get comfortable on narrow single track. Would do again and rate as an entry level moderate(blue).
