Trail Overview

Open seasonally for OHV but nearly impassable in spring or when highly saturated. The route from either end starts with a gravel forestry road and then quickly turns into a minimum maintenance road. The middle section is not maintained and will be the most challenging with a known washout at a beaver pond as well as a deep, steep ravine. The rest of the trail has varying depths of water, mud, and ruts. Choose your lines carefully.

Difficulty

Narrow trail with some large rocks, deep ruts, very deep mud, a steep ravine and potential washout at a water crossing. 4wd required, winch recommended. Do not ride solo.

Went through it in an electric Rivian r1t. Almost up to the lightbar in mud in one place but got through just fine. Had to use maxtrax boards. Proceed with caution.

Trail was nice 2/3rds of the way last 1/3 or first depending on what way you go in was terrible way deeper than expected mud some ruts you can’t even climb out of and will drag you to terrible positions

Trail is for the brave. Do not go alone and make sure to have a winch as there is no cell service. I took the trail East to West in my stock Wrangler. The ravine was nothing and is easy to get past, take the route on the left, it looks steep but I made it. The mud pits are a different story, some you can get around others you can’t. Needed my winch to get out of one.

This is not for the faint hearted. Do not attempt alone without a winch. There’s deep mud holes that cannot be avoided with a full with vehicle. This trail is a lot of fun but hard to navigate by yourself
