Trail Overview
This trail is a minimally maintained forest road that should be traveled with caution. It follows a mostly straight path through overgrown woodland and offers limited visibility due to encroaching vegetation. Along the way, it passes an active residence featuring a large farmhouse and cultivated fields, as well as an abandoned home that appears long unused. A notable stretch of uncut pine trees arranged in a grid suggests past or potential logging activity in the area. A few faint side trails branch off, including one marked by a large pool of muddy water near its entrance, indicating it is rarely traveled. The main trail surface is primarily sandy, with occasional potholes and uneven sections. At one point, a medium-sized fallen tree lies across the trail, requiring some maneuvering. While the trail feels remote, it is not entirely isolated, and visitors should remain alert for pedestrians. The trail does not offer any formal or dispersed campsites and lacks services such as water or trash disposal. Cell phone reception may be unreliable.
