Trail Overview

Frank Lake Spur A begins as a typical two-track before deteriorating into heavy overgrowth and deadfalls. It is meant to connect through to Wanless Road, but the route has been reclaimed by the forest near Shoofly Lake. A chainsaw would be needed to clear enough of the fallen trees to make a real attempt at a through route. The trail surface is otherwise dirt, green vegetation, and forest debris.
