Trail Overview

A short but surprisingly technical forest route that begins on gravel before becoming a narrower, rougher trail with close vegetation and loose rocks. Steep uphill and downhill sections, grass growing through the trail, and trees close enough to contact the vehicle add to the challenge. Several dispersed camping opportunities are located along the route. The route eventually becomes increasingly difficult before terminating at a hiking trail toward Trout Lake. The short distance is deceptive—the combination of terrain, obstacles, and limited turnaround space makes this a worthwhile technical side trip rather than simply a short connector.
