Trail Overview

Trail 3 is a "pick your own adventure" type trail with technical sections that have bypasses going around them. The mandatory lines have similar rocks, roots, and steep inclines as the rest of the system. The optional hard lines have rock ledges to go up and down with varying degrees of sketchiness, especially when the rocks are wet.

Difficulty

The go-arounds are still a little technical but not exceedingly difficult for most riders. If you choose the optional hard lines, this trail is more like a 5 or 6 in difficulty, depending on whether the trail is dry or wet. These optional hard lines are not as sketchy as some of the other hard lines found on different trails in this system.
