The route has no side trails and continues directly toward a lake, eventually ending at Little Loon Road. According to maps, the official route turns left at the road, but that section is damaged and can be rough to pass. A more manageable slip road to the right offers a better alternative for continuing travel. This is a straightforward but varied off-road trail that connects to Little Loon Road and offers a mix of sandy, muddy, and eroded conditions without any additional facilities.
The trail itself does not provide dispersed campsites, and there are no amenities such as trash disposal or potable water. Cell phone service may be limited or unavailable, so visitors should plan accordingly.
Difficulty
This forested route is lightly maintained and is typically used during peak seasons. Expect occasional fallen limbs, narrowing sections from plant growth with obstacles such as mud holes and off-camber sections.
