Manistee River Loop

Manistee River Loop is a single lane dirt/gravel/sand two track that is narrow and windy with some mud in spots. Trail rides along the Manistee River and designed for conventional vehicles. The trail is part of the Grayling Forest Management Unit and gives you the opportunity to see wildlife and explore the trail system in Northern Michigan. Sections are wide enough for another vehicle to pass. This trail is a nice ride with some sand/dirt in spots. The trail loops back to exit. The trail is mostly made up of pines and hardwood. Remember to stay on the trails and follow the tread lightly principles.
