FS 7121

FS 7121 is a tight bidirectional trail within the Manistee National Forest. Located east of the town of Yuma and south of the town of Mesick, this trail is easily accessible. Most of the trail is a combination of dirt, sand, and leaves. Starting out from the western end, you'll begin in a dense portion of the forest with a lot of overgrowth. As you continue, the trail twists and turns over and around logs throughout the track. There's a gorgeous section of towering pine tree rows along this route that's worth checking out. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. As always, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails! The eastern end of this trail finishes at a T with FS 7122. This is not a difficult trail, but it offers other recreation and access to other great trails! Regardless of the length or conditions, this is a wonderful trail for everyone!
