Trail Overview

Forest Service Road 5036 can be accessed from West 24 Road on the south and connects to the Cadillac ORV/OHV Scenic Ride – Part 20 at the northern end. This route offers a pleasant, open, and smooth drive, making it easily navigable for all types of rigs. Along the way, FS 5036 provides convenient access to the southern end of FS 5647, opening up additional exploration opportunities in the area. Travelers along this route are treated to beautiful, panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, showcasing the natural beauty of northern Michigan’s forests and rolling terrain. For those interested in camping, there are several small campsites scattered along FS 5036. These sites can accommodate one to two rigs and offer a quiet, scenic place to rest and enjoy the outdoors.
